This number telephoned my mums phone saying about her life insurence policy. My mum passed away a few days ago and I wasn’t aware of a life insurence policy. I explained my mum didn’t have a life insurence policy and she has recently passed away. I was asking for details of the life insurence and he couldn’t answer my question. He apologised and hung up!!! Disgusting! Cold call that triggered me.

Called my work asking to speak to the business owner about leads generating. I said to send us an email as none of our management are office based and the guy said ok. Then immediately after I hung up the phone, the same number called back again and a different guy was on the line asking for the business owner again. Message arrived over WhatsApp - I guess it's now the platform of choice for scammers, as bulk SMS costs money? Suspicious "hi, hope you are doing well" received, and nothing else. I'd suggest do not reply, not even to ask "who is this?", as it's likely a scam. If it was somebody I knew, I'd expect them to use my name and/or identify themselves if they can see we haven't communicated before.

Gave his name as Karl Hammond and his partner in crime is Jacob Quinton who’s number is 07763094802 don’t believe for one moment that is their real names but might come in useful if anyone does receive a call from these scumbags. If anyone does receive a call from these numbers please don’t engage With them
