The call purpoting to be from HM Revenue dept was suspicious. The correct name Her Majesty s Revenue and Customs, commonly abbreviated as HMRC never initiate communication by telephone, only by letter. Call not returned.

SCAM Apparently an apple iPod had been ordered from my Amazon account and I have to press 1 to talk to an advisor!!
The company is called Fresh Start and was warned about this company calling fron 0161 numbers. They re main purpose is to obtain your bank details, under no circumstances get in to a conversation with these people. they will rob you blind.
Called with message alleged from amazon saying my iPhone 7 costing £350 is on its way and my card had been charged and if it wasn't me press 1. Obviously a scam!
