An Asian voice, poor English spoken, said they were from Open Reach, and needed to check my modem. They made a give-away mistake as they got my internet provider wrong. This is the third call over the last 10 days, saying the same thing. But I didn't make a note of the number until the third time they called, which was today at 4.30 pm.

This number left a message on my answerphone saying that unauthorised payments had been made from an Amazon account and to press 2 to talk to someone. Clearly a scam but would scare some people to do the wrong thing.

They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. This number is a bank Number released for people in their network cokeabda.com to pay in. The bank name is X-Network Nigeria/Qpay Company. They have blocked the employer from withdrawing and also the group Whatsapp which is suspected to be a fraudulent platform.
