Fraud. Pretending to call from HMRC. Didn't know my name. Told them if they're calling from HMRC the least they should know is my name. Call was supposedly from Liverpool too, not a Liverpudlian accent to be heard.
Received 4 calls from this number on 13, 16 and 17th January 2023 and on 15th Feb 2023. This is not a known number to me and I cannot see any reason why I would be receiving a call form an unknow number. I am blocking it and considering it suspicious.

In the past few days, I have had numerous calls from numbers all starting with 118 230... The one I just asked about called on Feb.27th. Some of the calls were from: 118 230 4879 on Feb 22 118 230 2166 do 118 230 1074 do 118 230 8085 on Feb 27 118 230 0029 on Feb 28 118 230 5240 do This seems like nuisance calling to me, and I'm inclined to think it's about a scam of some sort, not simple soliciting for business.

Although the number is a London number it would appear it is redirected from a foreign country as the language was not great and any question I asked was answered with a repeated line stating the deal they were offering and not actually answering my question. Persistently calling the last couple of digits of the number change to like 5176 or 5274 or 5175 etc. They call at antisocial hours eg Sunday mornings etc. I suspect, although I never answer, that they’re some kind of debt collector for councils.

Called today from this number. Appears originally on my telephone as local number, 01900 632310. This is clearly a very dangerous number and it shows the depth to which this scum will go.

Missed call, left no vm, no msg, nothing to ID themselves, usually means something crooked these days. Don't know anyone in Manchester, would not have answered it anyway. Blocking this no. & reporting it to provider, etc., or anyone who will take note, if u do that every time for every nuisance/phishing call, it mostly stops for a while at least. Beware, stay safe.

Called regarding our website domain, called himself Luke from PDM. Asked to speak to whoever set up the domain, told him that it was set up a long time ago and I wasn't sure but that I could help. He ignored that and asked to speak to the MD, I advised him I wouldn't pass him through to the MD for such a query and that I could help at which point he hung up. At best a rude salesperson, at worse a scam. I can't find any information relating to them online so most likely the latter, best to avoid.
