loan broker...when looking for a loan online as soon as you give your phone number it has been sold to 2 3 4 parties and they sell to 2 3 4 5 parties and on and on.
Had a text claiming to be from PayPal and they wanted me to in put my username and password on which looked like a very convincing website. when I looked online it was a scam for them to get your details and use your card connected to tour PayPal account.

21 After attempting to make an online payment on a Halifax credit card while in the Philippines, the transaction was declined even before the bank's usual verification SMS message. To cut a long story short enough to fit the character liimit, this is not the Halifax, despite websites that say it is. The website I tried to pay was hacked and my payment was intercepted even before the bank could be contacted. THE SOPHISTICATION OF SCAMMERS IS NOW AT AN EPIDEMIC LEVEL. Don't be fooled.

Told them not interested in giving out my CC over the phone to inbound calls. Asked to send me email from the hellofresh.com domain, got instead one from their help desk utility, hellofresh1.zendesk.com Still looking for more info.
