Claims to be my local energy advisor SPAM I was transferred to a man with an Indian accent on a very poor quality line who knew my old postcode. Why would my local energy advisor be making calls from India?
Pretending to be curry's/ pc world, Asian guy called James ???? offering cheap phones and contracts at impossible prices, when I told them I wasn't interested they told me "to go to hell and your mother is a bitch......"

Agree with anon. I told the lady not interested and don’t call back (not that I would really understand what she was saying). It then phones me back asking why I am not interested. This really pees me off and suffice told her to do one and hung up. She called again, ignored it and blocked it.

SCAM!! A female with an Asian accent. Asked to speak to Mr XXXX (if you are going to scam someone at least get their gender right). Asking if I could secure whether I had any unsecured debt. I had a bit of spare time so I turned the conversation upside down and started grilling her. She allegedly got my details from GRS which she said was a government agency. I believe this to be a banking scam as the automated called said they were from Bank Security - but no bank name given. They told me that a charge for £700 had been made by Amazon (I no longer have an account there) and an international charge of £2,000. I was asked to press a number to speak to security!!!

Person of asian origin said he was from Currys, asked does he mean the electronic retailer no reply given he then went in to retirick regards mobile networks, blocked the number as I have had quite a few of these type of calls over the last couple of months.
This was a scam call claiming to be from a restaurant I visited recently through OpenTable, they got my card info before phoning back on a private number claiming to be from Santander.
