Rang today and listed a stream of debts I DON T have. Hung up on me when I pointed out I have no debts. Thick Indian accent, didn t ask any security questions and also failed to tell me the name of the company twice - he got confused both times so god knows where he was meant to be calling from. This number called me after I had placed a request for a tradesperson to do some work for me. His accent sounded very artificial as if it wasn’t his normal accent. He may have been genuine but I don’t think he was. It is showing as a number from Russia and I live in the UK. He said he would come this evening to look at the work that need to be done. He would not take any details about where I live but wanted me to text them to him. I have read that 0738 is associated with scam calls so did not text.
This number called me saying that I was under investigation from the national crime agency and that my national insurance number was to be frozen and I would be under arrest if I did not speak to an operator. THIS IS A SCAM

You get robocalls until you pick up from one Bournemouth number, then the next day you get your "local" energy adviser calling you - just got rid at that point so unsure whether a scam, but certainly unsolicited, and since my number is in the TPS database for not getting unsolicited calls, you can bet your life it's a dodgy company not bothered about following the law or regulations.

I contacted this number after several missed calls, the company is called Freshstart, from what they said they get your info via loan applications etc, They seem to either provide or find you Debt Management company/PPI insurance recovery and probably other things. I just said I didnt need it and to take me of the call list.

Fraud - Claiming to be from Sky saying that i have a problem with my broadband - when challenged they hung up.
Been getting calls and messages day, night and bank holidays from two numbers and not sure why. I do not answer, but when they leave a message they do not explain who they actually are, nor what it is about. The other number is 01482 618100, which I assume is related to 01482 483281. Don t fall into their traps...
