My mobile rang showing this number 0203 077 8261 and showing London as the area code. As I do receive calls from London I answered and the line immediately went dead. I tried calling back but the number comes up as unobtainable. So I'm guessing the are some sort of unwanted call centre calls or scammers. Don't bother answering them is my advice.

I received a call from this number this morning asking me to confirm details of my router, telling me that someone else had been using it and trying to hack into it. I told her that there was not a problem. She kept telling me that I needed to give her details of passwords etc so I hung up after telling her several times that I wasn't interested and knew that it was a scam call.

Natasha from (didnt catch company name). She had been advised that I'd had a car accident that wasn't my fault. I hung up and blocked the number.
I got called by this number at 18:07. The line was silent and when I hung up it called again. A quick search suggested it was Barclays Bank. An odd time of day for a bank to call! I contacted Barclays via their app for a live text chat. The operator assured me it was a Barclays number and not a scam. If a company like this keeps calling and ask if they are speaking to you, say no and ask what department they work in and keep playing a long as if you are in a multinational company. If they think you are a business, they take you off their cold calling list straight away. Have done this with multiple companies and they never ring back.
