AO aggressive aftersales, using a no-doubt masked number. Female caller asked me to confirm my personal details - I refused given they had called me! It was framed to confirm my order, but was essentially a very sharp practice way to try and sell insurance. I asked if there was an issue with my order - she said 'no' very unconvincingly. I then asked if it was a service or a sales call - very reluctant to answer so hung up. I think this sort of pseudo cold calling does businesses such as AO.com reputational

Got a automated call saying it was Visa debit Mastercard and about 2 hefty transactions one 700 something and one 900 something

I think this is a spoof number as it is a not in service number and does not leave a message on answer machine. This number cannot be contacted.

SCAM - sent a message mentioning: ' #Pay'PaI: You have sent 1305.00 G.B.P to Mr. Daniel Fritz on 17-11-2022. UTR#1527T718VnoaN, If not you call [PHONE NUMBER] to cancel immediately'. Definately fake. Please be careful. Texted this, and along with directions to send number that contacted to 'ActionFruad'.

A dangerous fraud / scam call pretending to be from the UK HMRC. Automated American woman's voice telling me legal proceedings are underway against me and I need to press 1 to speak to an officer. For many reasons, that's not how HMRC would operate.

I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. This number left a message on my answerphone saying that unauthorised payments had been made from an Amazon account and to press 2 to talk to someone. Clearly a scam but would scare some people to do the wrong thing.
