SCAM Automated voice, said it was bank security, suspected fraudulent transactions, one from Amazon, one a bank transfer. Have had this before. Checked bank, no transaction had been taken.
I'm from Portugal and today someone tried to reach me on my mobile phone from this number. I've been to the UK but not recently and I have only one relative the and she didn't tried to contact me. Therefore I think this it was a phishing call. Be ware!

Phoned my landline on 20 Jan. 2023 pertaining to be from Amazon Prime and stating that they had taken £94 from my bank account. I was offered a number of options to query this but hung up as it was obviously a hoax call. Amazon Prime would not contact in this way. They tried again on 21 Jan., this time from a different number 01216834924.

SCAM Message popped up on my laptop stating that it was in danger of being hacked and had been temporarily blocked. The error message suggested I called a helpline (number stated 020) said to be Microsoft Security. I rang, lady answered (Indian/pakistan accent) lots of noise in the background, she wanted me to depress the windows and the letter R key on my laptop. was evasive when I asked what would happen. I did know it was a scam that’s why I said it. I just feel sorry for the people that they do trap as they are scum. If you don’t No them hang up. And don’t give them any of your details.

Pre recorded voice message stating that £900 was being spent online and I needed to press 1 to cancel/stop the payment. Claimed it was Visa. Fake call, did not press 1 to reply. Be careful. I did check online to my bank afterwards. No payment pending. Scam call.
