Claimed to be from BT calling about faults showing on our broadband, sounded dodgy to me.

2 weeks ago i went to take my benefits out my account and 59.99 was taken out i then gt in touch with the bank the fraud team hv investigated and called me yesterday saying ive gt to call them myself as they hv all my details been trying all day today and yesterday numbers dont exist will i get this money back or should i just give up its a disgrace

keep calling , several times in 2 days.. I have trying to ring back and a voice mail is saying this number is incorrect..after several calls is now on rejection list.

Said his name was James Walker. telling me I have unsecured debt. buckled when I started asking him questions and hung up. asking about my finances and from his accent clearly gave a false name, when I asked what company he was calling from he said it isn t a company it the consumer awareness line, but this does not exist. SCAMMING for bank details!!

They called up asking if I had recently been involved in a car crash. It sounded similar to that scam that makes you say yes and then uses your recording to claim that you agreed to some contract or scam your credit card or something. They said the name very quickly at the beginning of the call. They quickly said that they will take my number off of their database and then they hung up. Caller "Niall" stated they had observed large amount of nuisance calls on my line, then tried to sell me a service for £60 upfront cost and £1.80 p/m to stop the calls. Tried to obtain my bank details at which point I hung up. Do Not Trust these dirtbags!!!
