I've been receiving lots of calls to my business mobile starting 0843. All of them without exception disconnect after around 3 rings. No doubt to get you to call back - so I suspect this is a scam, even though I'm the first to comment on this number here.
Just called now, unknown number, not in my contacts& (obviously) no message left. I'd class it as harassing.
Called saying it was my bank , I (maybe stupidly) gave them details about recent transactions and the sort code snd account number. As soon as I had done this I got cut off and it’s now permanently engaged so I am now worried it is a scam..

Phoned twice because my computer had been "hacked". I told the woman that I didn't want to speak to her and put the phone down. She then rang back and told me rudely to listen to what she had to say. Once again I hung up.

Needless to say I pressed nothing !! I know for a fact mine doesn’t expire until the 2nd September, 2023. They are trying to get you to panic .. Ignore and press nothing !!!!!

text message claiming to be my child in a terrible situation with a smashed phone, no funds and requiring help. Clearly a fake message and did not supply bank details.
Caller asked if I was the property owner. I said No and hung up. Now blocked
I was called on my landline from someone who politely announced himself as Sam from 'Windows Ltd' He then inquired was I the home owner at this property? When I asked him how precisely that was his business, he simply said 'Goodbye'. Perhaps my response was not in his script.

Highly probable that this is a scam call – Caller claimed to be from BT regarding an internet connection problem, he had an Indian accent and wanted me to access computer. I ended the call at this stage.
Also, I just tried phoning the number back and it doesn't even exist - so somehow the scammer is making out that they are phoning from a local number to look more legit.

SCAM Called today 23032022 automated voice saying £79 was coming out of my account today, press 1 for account details or 2 for other enquiries. claiming to be from Amazon but they do not have my mobile number.
I've just kept one of their team talking for 12 minutes, saving others from being called by this scam! They claim to be "Road Traffic Management" and that they can get you additional compensation for a RTA you've had. They also claim to have got your details from the MIB (Motor Insurance Database), but when pushed they claim that all they were given was your phone number and the fact that your vehicle had been in an accident in the last five years that wasn't your fault. SCAM - "NC Power" claiming to be our provider (Gazprom) trying to confirm information as next month's billing will be wrong. Same woman called last month from a different number (029 218 2591) asking the exact same thing for the previous month's billing. Pointed out that I'd personally called Gazprom about something else (in the last two days!) and mentioned these calls and that our accounts are actually fine and she hung up?!
Asian woman calling claiming to be from BT Openreach, clearly calling from a call centre but this is a mobile number! When I queried if this call was genuine the woman kept saying I sould "improve my pronounciation", Told her I was unconvinced the call was genuine and hung up.
