Someone from this number attempted to defraud me by pretending to be a relative needing cash to repay a debt.

This is a cold caller first thing in the morning, asking what i had in my loft. Denied being a cold caller or nuisance caller. Saying i would benefit from this call. Which i understand to be against the law to do un the UK. I demanded to know where she got my details from. She said it was from the.. P.. Somethinf data base company.. So probabky paid for it.... I got a call from this number saying they from Curry pc world. They are giving unnatural offers on phones and sim cards. Too good to be true. I didn't go forward with the offer but I believe its a scam.

Hello, difficult to understand caller as English wasn't good. Wanted to sell me life insurance and wanted me to answer questions. Unwilling to do so. My impression it is a scam. Be careful don't even give your name. Can't wait till the government brings in new legislation to stop selling financial products over the phone.

SCAM sounded like a genuine call from Virgin Media about internet problems. Said their server had been receiving errors from my hub. Suspicious when they started asking me what apps I ran on my phone. Even more suspicious when they wanted me to download remote control software so they 'could show me the problem ' Noticeable change in tone when I said I was an IT professional. Hung up the phone and called Virgin who confirmed they'd never ask someone to download software.

Asked if I was Muslim. Said no, they hang up. Spam call.
