Either phone rings and there is an engaged tone when I answer, or I answer it and it seems to be from a foreign call centre threatening debt collection, court and bailiffs when no one in my home even uses 3! I ve asked them 3x on the phone, 2x by webform, and 3x in writing to never contact me again, but keep being ignored. Not acceptable. SCAM: the number that called was too long to be identified as a phone number - it had 006 44 in front of it, which is probably deliberate to make it impossible to search. I could hear a call centre. Indian sounding guy asked for me by name. Told him he had the wrong number & he hung up.

Had dealings with RTA a few years ago and they were totally useless and not to be trusted. Had a call yesterday from this number and they are now calling themselves something like Business Associates, claiming they had a buyer waiting to buy my business and could they call back with details. Got a call from 0161 975 1500 but they hung up before I could answer. I have already reported them to Trading Standards to no avail. Recommend you waste there time but trust them with nothing!

Caller claimed they were calling because my Beko washing machine warranty had expired. I don t have a Beko washing machine. I gave this incorrect information to a unwanted cold call last week (Indian caller, UK Preference, claiming they were doing a survey). They have obviously passed my details to this company.
A few minutes ago I had a call from 01414467459 that I could hardly hear due to cracked sounds in ll.the line, from a foreign lady who wanted to talk to me about my Amazon account. I don't have such an account so I put the phone down immediately. Obviously yet another spam call.
Take nothing to do with this number called late at night it was a male voice sounded like a weirdo block it

Fraud - HMRC tax scam. Automated response stating that your name is been used for a scam in relation to HMRC and hold on the line whilst they connect you to someone who can help. Blocked number.
Constant calls from this number, upon calling back, i was on hold for 20 mins then phone cut off. Do not call this number back.
Said he was calling from Utility Care Club, trying to sell additional warranty on my boiler. I am so glad I hung up on the call, because I checked the reviews on the internet. They don't have a good reputation at all.

TAXES / HMRC Automated message. Had similar before. “This is HMRC. You are under investigation for tax fraud. Press 1 immediately to speak to your case officer. Failure to do so immediately will result in a warrant being issued for your arrest.....” I did not press 1, so cannot say what happens if one does.

Missed Call - Called Back - And the same PPI S**t. The lady started off asking personal details, which I didn t reveal and asked what it is about. She doesnt want to listen when I said I am not interested and she can take off my name from her database. Am now receiving atleast 1-2 calls a day and 3-4 sms messages from various people/companies and I think it has crossed the limits to be tagged as harassment. Am not sure what OFCOM is doing about it.

Today it's 01202137087 - yet another call purporting to be from the Bournemouth area but it could be India or Japan! I have no idea what the caller would have had to say because I never pick up these calls and they never leave a message.
