i answered but was ending a call on the my other line, they hung up and when i tried call back it said this number is no longer in use

Has called 3 times this month (March 2014). Nobody speaks when answered.

When asked who was calling, caller hung up.

Claimed to be paid by Microsoft, insisted I switch on my computer which supposedly had a virus. Resisted and argued when challenged, became abusive and continued to try to persuade me (but failed). Threatened to block my connection. I told him where to go and hung up. He called back three times in a different voice and got told again where to go! One of many scammers trying the same old gag. This number calls a LOT especially as I have asked twice to be removed from their database. Excel services wanting to service a dyson we do not have. Just had a call today, VERY rude girl. I told her we had already asked to be taken off the database, we don t have a dyson. She said that s why she s got us down as non-dyson. So they can make a note of that bit but not the fact that we re not interested?! I ended up hanging up, she was just so unpleasant.

This number called my mum but she couldn't understand them she said they sounded foreign.

PPI automated call scam. Hung up. Never had PPI. Risk that these are identity fraud scammers? Report to ICO. Search for "ICO report nuisance automated calls". Consider call dangerous.

Said he was from Domestic and General asked for my name, and then said he could not hear me could I give it again which I did. I had cancelled a insurance with D & G and thought they were ring to make me change my name. He then asked for the first name of my address and post code, and again said he couldn t hear me and asked me to repeat it again. This is when I got suspicious and hung up. I rang D & G and they apparently do not keep a record of outgoing cals.

Calling constantly asking for date of birth, when asked why they get aggressive and ask for date of birth again... I just keep hanging up... Unfortunately this doesn t stop them calling repetitively.

this number has been calling me several times per day for around 2 weeks, when I answered it was a telemarketing company telling me I had been involved in an accident (I haven t) when I responded with "well you know more about this than I do" the caller hung up and didn t call again so I will definitely be using that tactic in the future
