I suggest you folk get a BT8500 Advanced Call Blocker phone. You can block it or only allow it to go to answer phone. I purchased a quad set for handling all these unsolicited calls. They are brilliant and as far as I know, the only phone to do this.

They work on a dialler so your best bet is to answer and ask to be removed from the caller list.

Keep getting called by these Indians/Pakistanis asking me to answer security questions, they reckon they are British Gas but they want me to confirm second half of my postcode. The first half of the postcode he told me was from my old house address from 12 years ago and he swears it is my current British Gas account! obviously foreign scammers targeting Brits...beware

These clowns call from India and are very abusive. Ask them to hold on a sec and just put phone on the side and go back to what you were doing. No point arguing or being abusive as they likely have your email address and obviously have your telephone number.
