I returned the call, prefixing with 141, and got 'the number not recognised'. Presumably it's some kind of pretence then. Why is this allowed?
I get regular calls from this number,but I don,t answer I believe they are trying to sell warranties for used cars.
They phoned me to say they were Microsoft Specials. Told me my PC had a fault - possibly Virus Infected - and first tried to access my PC via Teamviewer. This did not work so i was told to visit www.ammyy.com. Here they did gain access and I sat back to watch the mouse pointer open and close multiple files etc. Much file info was Transfered and after sometime they phoned again to ask if the PC now worked faster,,,,Answer was, "NO". It was then gave me their requested phone number and in turn asked fo

Sounded like the usual "survey". Asian/Indian sounding man asked for me by name and wanted to confirm postal code. I asked who wanted to know but couldn't make out what he said. He wanted to ask me some question, it would only take a minute of
I believe that the woman asking the question, 'I was informed that you have been involved in a car accident' is a recorded voice which responds to your answers. When I said that she was misinformed another phrase asking for 'the date of the accident', came back and so on until the line went dead. I'm convinced this is a robot! It's irritating at best, but would be upsetting for anyone who had a family member or friend involved in a bad accident.
