As we have registered our business line with Corporate TPS months ago, this is one of multiple illegal calls we receive promising to get us PPI refunds within 12 weeks. This call, like all the others which also offer Private Pensions 3K windfalls, is an automated message and cuts off within 10 seconds, telling you to press 5 to start your claim or 9 to unsubscribe. Can someone tell me what happens when you press 9?

Fraud, pretending to be a pretty chinese girl messaging through WhatsApp, but it is unacceptable an incompetent scammer who is very poor at his job. Seems to be in the extreme end of stupid. I played him along for weeks and am still nibbling on the bait. He's investing a lot of time and effort and is oblivious to the fact I'm on to him. Uses a VPN based in Dublin.

I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. I gave this incorrect information to a unwanted cold call last week (Indian caller, UK Preference, claiming they were doing a survey). They have obviously passed my details to this company.
