Fraud Call purporting to be from BT re my broadband line. As I do not have any equipment or contracts with BT this was clearly a scam. Asian? female caller with background noise suggesting it was some sort of call centre.
This number called me today saying with an automated message that there was a fraudulent charge for a US gambling site and if I wanted to no more I was to press one. 100% SCAM DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS!!! The bank would never phone u with an automated call and not identify themselves and ask u to press numbers like this. This is so they can get access to ur details. These people r TOTAL SCUM. I had a message from this number saying hi mum I’ve dropped my phone, can you message me on this number. I replied asking who it was. Then got a WhatsApp saying hi mum it’s Jenny are you busy. I don’t know this person, and suspected a scam, so I blocked the number.
