They hung up without speaking a few seconds after I answered. I suspect an insurance scam after reading comments on here coupled with an attempted fraud on my insurance a few years ago. They are based in Manchester where my broker is and I live in the south. Draw your own conclusions.

This 20040 number is fairly new to me.. Only five digits? I never picked up; though when returning the call out of curiosity.. there's just a dead line tone.

Number called and said they were from Albany Insurance relating to my motor collision. Scam!

It's jones window systems, if u have enquirered about anything they will call you to come out and do you a quote.

Possible fraud from someone claiming this as their phone number. Wanting to check who they really are.

A Google search suggests that the number, if genuine, belongs to ASI Environmental Services (eg asbestos removal) based in Southampton.

DO NOT ANSWER - Scam call from an Asian call centre, openly admitting to charging a premium rate for connecting your call. They begin the conversation stating they are a government scheme aimed at helping pay back loans etc. I received racial abuse from the caller while trying to get information out of him. I rang this number back but the message on the call minder was quite unclear. Think it was Fresh Contracts or Contacts? no idea what they wanted. As usual someone phishing!!

Called 5 times in the last week - I said that to him and he said they don t call off lists and it was the first time they d attempted to call. He was polite enough but just wouldn t take my word for it. Each time i ve put the phone down after asking them to remove my details but not happened yet. Each time I block the number I just get another call from another DDI.

They asked for my husband who is at work, then they asked me if I was Mrs Belfield , I said yes and then they hung up.
