Best he didn't call me when I didn't even have a coffee or a cup of tea or a cigarette. I won't be called dumb or stupid by a fake debt collector. Asian accented male called "George" who wanted to know which handset and mobile provider I was using. I asked if he would like to stop wasting time and just ask for my credit card details. He hung up.

Claiming to be Hammersmith police station over bank card fraud, check lots of bank acc details, then say when the call is finished a dialling tone sounds and to dial one's bank customer advice.
