Received a call but didn’t connect upon answering the call. Also received a call a couple of hours earlier from 02119768666 with a recorded message indicating that the Internet will be disconnected due to illegal activity and to press 1 to speak to someone. Potential scams ?

SCAM - Left message about being Fraud Department at HMRC. (Should have listened to VM first!) Called back and odd ring like overseas dialtone, answered immediately by an indian sounding man who said he was inspector someone from HMRC fraud and criminal investigations dept, he asked for my name and address and kept me on hold. when I questioned what dept again he read off a London address, and said "In the UK" Hung up immediately. Probably cost me a fortune! PEST AND SCAMMERS, STAY AWAY!!

Been getting calls from this number over last few days so called them back. First a woman answered, seemed like it was the last thing she wanted to do and told me the line was bad so she would call me back. No call back so I called again. SCAM. Asian male called "Mike" rang saying he was from TPS and asking if I was receiving a lot of nuisance calls. Told him yes, including him, & put the phone down. Really don't think TPS will be auto-ringing from a call centre!

I had a few times call from this number claiming that they are from police .asking 125 pound from me to let me do busness in my area.
TAXES / HMRC - recorded voice saying something about tax fraud case, hung up and blocked.
This was Oxford Audi confirming my service date and time. All good.
