Irish traveller scammers, they arrived in a pair to purchase goods with a fake banking app. Used every excuse possible. Probably a burner number but blocked. Sent them away without the goods and they called back trying to “show me the reference number” and arrange a call with bank of Ireland.

Repeated calls from this number. I finally answered. They knew my name (first name) and claimed to be from a company I couldn't understand the name of despite repeated requests for them to repeat it. They said they were calling to review my life policies. On the basis my life policies are with a company whose name sounds nothing like what they said, I told them I have no policies with them. The caller paused, said thank you and hung up.
This number has called me relentlessly trying to get information from me. I have bipolar and have no issues with my benefits claim. They keep stating that I need to send them my bank statements and have refused to give me her employee number or managers number or a contact for the department she works for.
Another text message with attached link sent by fraydsters trying ti SCAM you out of your details. Report immediately to Actionfraud, a reward may be offered for informarion that leads to a conviction.

Apparently I applied for life insurance, even though what I suffer from life insurance can't cover. Never ACTUALLY even googled life insurance, simply talked to my partner as he's reaching his 50s in a few years. But this guy was persistent and insisted I applied, so I asked the name of his business and he couldn't answer. Google didn't even acknowledge the number. SCAM caller - called saying he's from my bank, quoted some card details (correct, must be on a stolen database) to say that Apple Pay / Contactless are down for 24-48 hours while they do upgrades. I didn't give him any info but somehow he managed to set up an Apple Pay with my card and stole £2,600 from our company account, on payday, 4 days before Christmas.
