SCAM This person rang me 3 times one after the other. He said he was from an investment firm and I stopped his spiel as soon as I heard that. He became extreme belligerent when I told him I wasn't interested and to remove my details from his list. I ended the call and he had the audacity to keep ringing me even though I kept rejecting his call!

Guy called Travis Smith from BT Technical dept called (but he was clearly an Indian!!!) said I would be disconnected for 23 days within the hour if I didn't perform the following checks. When I asked what would have happened if I didn't answer the call he didn't clearly answer the question. There is now no doubt in my mind now that this was a scam as I do not believe BT would contact me in this way & it is now well past the hour & I am still connected..... These guys called me a couple of times and I answered the call the second time. It was an Indian woman who told me I d won 10 free lucky dips for tonight s euro millions, she then went through my personal details, she knew my email, my address and phone number. Then it went on to a £39.99 lottery syndicate. She then told me she needed my bank name, then sort code to identify the branch.
