Suspected Scammer - querying membership of Amazon Prime.

Called but left no message in response to my "this number blocks withheld and unrecognised numbers" message, but it is clear from the numerous other reports that it is a standard Indian "Your commputer is infected" criminal fraudster. I never answer my phone whilst at work unless I know who is calling I have blocked this number from my phone several times over the last few months but for some reason it keeps getting through!

I think this is a boiler room operation, touting for investment. Even after you tell them where to get off, they still call back many times. A boiler room operation is one which hypes "investments" which probably don t exist and you lose your money. Worryingly they knew my name.

They are crooks who once they find a victim will ask them for personal details and /or credit card/bank details "So we can proceed with our refund to you" They then commit identity fraud or empty your bank account.
