Does relate to an account setup. It s a company relates to crypto and it s a courtesy call. Caller is actually in Cyprus not London Dodgy number but thanks BT for allowing such things legal but misleading. Call genuine.

Very aggressive person when told i m not interest, said how do I know i m not interested, when asked to take me off their phone list told he would contact me again when I was not at work,again told to take me off their list, still got aggressive, I put phone down.

Got a call from 0208 415 1292 claiming to be from HMRC with an automated message saying that I have tax evaded, without stating my name or anything, and the message carries on saying that they have a warrant on me :P honestly!?!?!?!?... they carry on asking me to press this and that button, which I didn't ofc... I hung up... Careful guys when you get calls from unknown people asking you to press this button or that, you may be giving way for hackers to clone your phone.

Claims to be from BT internet and says your internet has been hacked. Will spend over a hour with you on the phone getting you to check your internet security, but while you are doing this they are hacking into your internet and taking all the money from your bank and putting it into a western union account! They cleared my bank account

SCAM - they claim I already have a "life insurance" policy with them, but then ask questions about my address, date of birth, which provider I have it with, how long I've had it, how much it costs. (I don't even have life "insurance" in the first place.)

Apparently I have won several thousand dollars in a US draw without buying a ticket. I was given a reference number but it sounds very much like a scam.
Claiming to be message from Santander saying a new payee had been set up and to click on the link to check. Has scam written all over it so reported it to 7726 to investigate.

They re bothering us since days. Calls several times a day and no one there when answered. We blocked the number but they are still coming through! Not sure what we can do it s really annoying.
SCAM - Said they were from BT Open Reach. Told them I was with Virgin which she then spoke over me and told me they were picking up problems from my router. I told them I'm a software engineer and they hung up.
It cost me £12.97 for a 13 min call that I apparently made although I have no recollection of it

They called twice in one week. You always know these people. You answer once, twice and then when you are just about ready to hang up they speak. Lots of back ground noise from their colleagues making more nuisance calls to other poor victims and they ask for you by name but need you to confirm it. You either say they have the wrong number and that person isn t known at this number then hang up or, just say that the line is breaking up and you can t hear them. They get bored really quickly and hang up.

Received call from 01915277766. Number told to phone 0013476699085 by automated message to receive £500000 lottery win. Advised me that I had been contacted by phone and letter that I had not replied to. Given 18 days to respond before prise withdrawn. I have not entered any lottery and received no previous communication. Obvious scam so did not respond.
