Phoned me today. I have just had a bereavement in my family so wansnt up to dealing with the call. I told them I would contact them back and the woman said that s fine. Then they phoned again 5 minutes later saying they have personal details to discuss I again said I can t take the call right now. Now I ve had to block them from calling me.

They called just now, as soon as I heard pause then background noise with foreign man speaking , likely Indian, saying from BT I hung up. He shouted at me and said ohhh definitely not when I asked to be removed from his call list. He was very nasty and actually left me a bit shaken.
My 81 year old father was targeted and asked to insure his 4 year old Indesit washing machine. Unwittingly he set up a d.debit which he cancelled the next day, with the bank, when he realised he already had cover. He rang Appliance Serve and told them too, he was asked to put it in writing which he did. He is now getting calls about his non payment and they are threateneing court action as they said they hadn t received a phone call or letter. Total fraudsters targeting the elderly. #scammers
