This is a hoax .... say they are from currys and PC world... they offer upgrade on your phone, 1 week on no new phone canceled card payment and direct debit, phoned again today soon as they heard my voice they hung up, I've been keeping the line busy for the past 2 hours .... got nothing better to do. Missed a call to my mobile from this unknown local Nottingham number. Suspicious as I haven't given my number to any but a handful of friends, and my doctor/dentist/pharmacy. No message left. Another caller-trace service says this number was first detected 11 days ago, but there were no reports about it. When I checked 10 minutes ago, *this* service said there had been 16 searches in the last 10 days. Now when I've returned 20 minutes later it says there have been 20 searches. Fraud - I think. A male with I think and Asian accent called from this number. He asked for me by name and said he was calling from Microsoft then asked if I was the main user of the computer in my hone. I asked "Which Computer is that then?" and he hung up. Another number check site has lots of people checking this number and it appears to be from various different places so I think it must be an attempt to access a persons computer or something like that.

I think this is a marketing call. No message left, but they tried twice and the same day I received a call from a similar number with 2 different digits - again no message. When I called it (blocking my own number) there's an automated number saying the office is closed and it's 'something' communications (I didn't catch the first word). I figure if it was important / genuine they'd leave a message.
