Absolute scam. Claimed to be from OpenReach told me they would switch the internet off for 72 hours as our IP address was public and it was a GDPR issue. When I told them to make our IP address private as they actually own the internet, they told me they couldn't. I had to run a software on my laptop to do it. Literally do not do anything they say!
Fraud The guy who was calling me, wasn`t understand what I had said, wasn`t able to answer my questions as from hi has my details, I`m sure they found it on my website., Had tried to said I`m already registered with them. As it was our local area code we answered. After a short pause a male with an Asian accent said he was from BT and asked how we were, of course we instantly hung up, we are not BT customers.

Pre-recorded female voice (American accent) purporting to be HMRC but number coming up on iPhone as Newquay area. Fraud SPAM SCAM A Mr. Ford claiming to be from HMRC, telling me that I have an outstanding debt of £545 which must be paid immediately, otherwise there will be a warrant issued for my arrest. I said that I didn't believe this was a genuine call, hung up and then called HMRC but couldn't get through. After an hour and half trying I gave up, but I don't believe they call people from mobile numbers and I know I don't owe anything.

This is the fourth time this week calls from 01223 reputed to be Cambridge? saying my bank account has been attacked etc when pressed 2 to talk to the operator a female Asian voice answered....I asked are you in Nagapur India, the line went dead? It's obvious they have a way to get into our phone system. Another one they use is Liverpool 01514.
