Text Message out of the blue saying "Hello, is this Anna? I'm not sure if I have the wrong number." I didn't respond.

He wanted to know how we got out, told him none of his business. He claimed that he was from a company investigating the validity of the claims. Insisted he wasn't toting for business. SCAM - Claiming to be from HMRC (HM revenues and customers will be taking legal action against you shortly, press one to speak to our officer, etc.).
This is a suspected nuisance call. On picking up there was a recorded message asking for verification details. I immediately put the phone down. I have had a couple of calls from another Bridgend number in the last few weeks. 01656 723940 seems to belongs to a Mr Steven Walters of Dennis Place, Bryncethin, Bridgend. If so he needs to know it is illegal to call anyone who is TPS registered.
