Fraud Supposedly Lloyds Bank fraud team. Please DO NOT reply to their texts. I’ve spoken with Lloyds myself and I can confirm that this is a scam.
Automated message asking me to confirm two possibly fraudulent international payments of £700 and £900. Told to press 1 - put the phone down.
Appeared on my mobile contacts and what’s app with a picture of an unwholesome looking man “John”. Deleted but worried about how it got there.

its a scam even if it is 118 because they sell your data at no gain to you. If its unsolicited hang up because I have never seen any unsolicited call from an unknown person being to your benefit - normally its quite the opposite.

This number called me this morning 10.02 am. What appeared to be recorded message told me that they were speaking from Visa and my card had been used to place an £800 bet in the USA, if this wasn't me press a button on the phone. When I asked where did they get my number from they mumble some national something. when I said they don't have my number they said all they need to know if my house is damaged.
