Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 14136721xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with accident chasers, PPI. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). Folks did they call you with the same or something new? This number(01618186978) was given to me 9 days ago by someone who purported to be from BT's online technical team, which was sorting out an issue with my internet line (I'm no longer a BT customer, but they knew that).
A cold call to protect myself against unwanted calls. Ironically, the callers are already. Unfortunately - for the caller - I already have a good working unit and blocking those numbers immediately.
Spoke to two Asian people (one female and one male) Both claimed they were from Microsoft and became very aggressive. They hung up when I refused to give them control of my computer.

SCAM Indian recruitment company Collabera is a SCAM. They contact me for a position with Bank of America. I've got an interview request but the links didn't work. I was contacted by the "supposed recruiter" asking me to call Bank of America. The phone I've called (this phone) does not belong to Bank of America. This phone number and several others are mapped to a telephony exchange with routes the calls to India.

They didn t even specify what kind of account nor did they ever identify the company they were calling from. This number called, claiming to be from BT, telling me my internet was being hacked and "used for criminal purposes". Clear sounds of a busy call centre in background. Female caller had an Asian accent and called me "Maam" (Drives me crazy!) Why would BT have a call centre in Orkney, employing Asian operatives? I hung up and have now blocked the number.
