TAXES / HMRC SCAM - Received a call from this number. Recorded message informing me that a letter from HMRC had been returned and therefore proceedings are going to be issued against me. I was instructed to press '1' to speak to an advisor but I hung up instead and reported the call to ICO.org.uk. I am hoping that this is not somebody's private number being cloned.

SCAM Only one person calls me on my landlinge and that's my brother but somehow it seems to have been circulated to scammers and/or on the dark web. This number called on my landline (getting lots from lots of false numbers for months now) and it was a silent call. I called it from my mobile (number withheld) and it wasn't a recognised number. All they do is charge you a monthly fee to register you on the free TPS register This company is a part of the problem, not the solution. They have been told many times to stop calling & that all percieved "permissions" to call have been recinded. SCAM number calling multiple children and now parents. Just rings the phone and expects a call back. DONT CALL IT BACK!

I received a text message from this number saying they were from evri and need to reschdule a delivery, yet the text was all different fonts and special characters

Jessica called from "The Phone House Company" clearly calling from an Isian call centre and they have managed to spoof this number as Google shows it belongs to WH SMith

Yet another scam call from someone with my details. I asked how she'd got the details and she said "from a database". I asked which database and she said "her job was only to offer an extension to my washing machine guarantee". As I have no such thing anyway, it was easy to know it was a scam. Unfortunately these despicable people keep going because there are still those not wise to their tricks :-(
