This number called me after I had placed a request for a tradesperson to do some work for me. His accent sounded very artificial as if it wasn’t his normal accent. He may have been genuine but I don’t think he was. It is showing as a number from Russia and I live in the UK. He said he would come this evening to look at the work that need to be done. He would not take any details about where I live but wanted me to text them to him. I have read that 0738 is associated with scam calls so did not text.

Never give any information to an unknown caller, no matter how plausible they sound.

Girl with friendly UK accident, asking me about a car accident they claimed I had. When I asked how she knew this, she then said Incident at work? . They try and get you to talk about some incident they can help you with, but I don t they have any real data. When I asked again where she got the data from, she hung up.

Safe to answer, they are a broker who got me a great finance deal on my car. Not nuisance callers.

Rang for a long time. Foreign female with heavy accent said something about accident helpline how are you. I said I m fine thank you and haven t had an accident and hung up. She didn t call back.

Pest trying to earn percentage of PPI claim.

Someone called from this number. Couldn't make out the company name. Asked who it was. They couldn't hear me properly and hung up. Probably telemarketers. Just be aware.

Called last week..was told they d not be in touch again after I answered their questions...haha..called again today and I told them to stop ringing my number....called again at 14.37..14.54. 15.02..15.09.. 15.14..15.17..15.27.. Seriously getting cheesed off with these cretins now!

This number called our landline on 16/8/18 at 6pm. We didn't recognise number so guessed it was a scammer.

nAn automated call clams to be from HMRC and saying that I have a message so I should call the number back.
nThey threaten with legal consequences if ignoring the messa...

Caller advised they were from "Chase Alexander" - asked for me by name - regarding RTC. I asked when was the RTC (last one I had was 2011), they replied in the last 2 years. Told them the last RTC was before that. They asked if they had their records mixed up with someone else at my address. I asked what address they had for me and they hung up. Sounds like they are trying to obtain personal details - possible vishing scam - AVOID!!!

Rang once then hung up. Didn t call back, Googled the number and found this site.
