I had a text message from this number telling me I had a fee of !.50 to pay to Evri for a parcel they were holding....fill in bank details to pay etc etc. Who knows, maybe it was genuine, but somehow I think not!

The caller said that they were from the National Grid and needed to change my meter. Apparently it is malfunctioning. This is a prelude to trying to get my bank details I thin; I didn't hold on for long enough to find out.

A very well spoken man said he was calling from some company (I didn't catch the name) to do with my Scottish Widows life insurance. This is not a scam I have covers for all my electricals,this is from homeshield direct and I also have paperwork and I recently phoned them to replace my washing machine as it broke down and had someone come out to look at it and few weeks later had a new washing machine.had to pay extra for delivery and old washing machine removal
