Says he is from citizens advice bureau and asked me if I owe a lot of debt. They mentioned that they had some paperwork about me and that I have debts which I owe. Sounded suspicious so I said No I don’t owe anything and then they said goodbye and hung up. I think it’s s scam to be honest.

Although the number is a London number it would appear it is redirected from a foreign country as the language was not great and any question I asked was answered with a repeated line stating the deal they were offering and not actually answering my question. A man with a strong foreign accent rang to say we had £137 refund from the insurance on our washing machine and wanted bank details so the refund could be made. Definatly a fraudulent attempt.

This number called me, I am located in south of England, at 1251 local time (GMT) informing me my Internet would be turned off within one hour and offered me various people to talk to in order to avoid this. It sounds very much like a scam for either hacking my system, or extracting money from my account. I would suggest this number is potentially a scam and should be upgraded to rating 8, 9 or 10.
