Claiming to be Amazon - They claimed to be Amazon and my account had suspicious activity. When I asked for the head office number he asked me why I needed it, I told them if they were a representative of the company he would not hesitate to give me the head office number he the said he would give me it to get a pen and paper handy then the line went dead.

Silent call - rang early morni9ng and when I picked up there was no voice, nothing. I said hello, but there was no reply - said it again and then the line went dead. Few people use our landline these days, and only numbers we recognise (family and friends) so I suspect this was spam.

When I pointed that out, he pretended he didn't have access because a different department has access to such details. He did NOT greed me by name. This company re sale web domains at inflated prices, access your details online with no prior connection. They was operating under a different name, I guess went bust and setup again. They gave me two names of companies hosting my domain, neither of them was correct, seems like a chancer.
