Someone called from this number to ask me about my workplace pension, they knew I was no longer paying into it, and that I had been paying in for around 5 years, maybe some of these were guesses, but foolishly I agreed to speak to one of their advisers . He kept telling me he couldn t hear me properly, called me back from a slightly different number (0161 8274383) wanted to know who I worked for and how many years I had paid into my pension. Indian chap, allegedly from Carphone Warehouse. Said I could have a 5g phone with 80Gb of data, etc., for £7 a month. Sounded too good to be true, which means it probably is, so I passed. He then complained that I had wasted his time! I guess his next move would have been to ask for my bank details! Avoid!

13/07/2017 01393 847 125 called at 16.23. I didn't answer but got the number from dialling 1471. I am also ex-directory and registered with the TPS. I have a recorded message for cold callers on my phone. I keep a list of all unfamiliar numbers who call me and don't seem to have been called by this number or similar before.
