I have never heard of a bank that calls a person without the person calling forst so it is obviously a scam. Not sure how they scam, but I have blocked this caller now and it will be blocked forever. SPAM Was called on my workphone - only colleagues have this number and have no reason for calling me on a Saturday. "Asian-sounding" voice, not speaking in English. This is a HSBC Bank scam claiming to confirm a withdrawal of a large amount of money for me was $3700. Then claims someone has access to your account and that they can fix this. Total scam don't even have a bank account with HSBC.
They have phoned my office number about 10 times and I haven't answered. Since my office number has voicemail it is rather surprising they haven't just left a message if they were a genuine caller. Therefore I believe these to be scammers. SCAM

This number called me up to ‘follow up’ after a fraud attempt on my Revolut card. I had actually contacted Revolut as I had another scam call the day before (definitely linked to this one) attempting for me to give a code to add my card to their Apple Pay. They were convincing, and said if I don’t give them answers to the security questions then they can’t block the payments.
