I have blocked the number from my phone. So annoying!!!
Started yesterday with 2 call and the same today(so far) I never get chance to pick up call before they hang up. Have now put this number in phone to try to block them, so will wait and see if they manage to get through that. Good game, hope you all enjoy playing this at home!

Called them back - got automated message about Lotto and to hold the line. I hung up as I am pretty sure this will be a cold caller I am not interested in.

an Asian man called me today earlier on this phone number offering me a loan for my tuition fees as i am paying my own fees. he called himself David if i remember right. He told me as hes offering an unsecured loan from SkyQuid all i have to do is to pay £100 to an account as a deposit and he will straight away transfer the amount. Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 1617685xxx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, life insurance - insurance marketing. Just block it if not interested (I use the app from these pages, no problems). People did they call you with the same or something new?

Lowell debt recovery. They call every other day. Sometimes 3/4 times a day. Finally answered and they asked for an unknown person. When I told them they had the wrong number they asked for my name. When I wouldn’t give it they hung up
Automated message on answerphone saying that it's hmrc with a serious lawsuit big giveaway is that if hmrc were to proceed with a lawsuit 1 it wouldn't be over the phone and 2 they wouldn't wish you a blessed day at the end of the message. F£&@ing stupid scam artists number now blocked.

This number should be a landline from Manchester - I haven't found any ratings for this number somewhere else on internet resources, which should be a good sign... Does someone have some experience with this one? Was trying also different formats of this number, but no luck.
