Beware This caller is a scammer
Definitely a scam as they asked for a fictitious name I have given the scammers before and false information. Trying to get me to change my life insurance to them so they can have a holiday in the Bahamas all on my savings I would expect.
Sadly this IS British gas I phoned them and they admitted that yes they do make presumptive appointments for smart meter installs with the onus on the customer to cancel them The appointment was also on my British Gas online account There is currently NO obligation to have smart meters installed Sadly you cant cancel the appointment online you have to phone them Ive not cancelled yet but put my details in an online complaint and instructed them to cancel it If need be Ill make the call before the appointmen
Cold call offering to reduce my vodaphone payments but not from vodaphone itself apparently we’re supplied with number from who I could not ascertain when I refused to disclose my current payment and asked them to make me an offer they closed the call. They claim that your internet box has been compromised because of suspect malware and then pretend that they want to compensate you by putting money into your bank account, but really they try and take money out of your account. They are Asians and the number emanates from Orpington Kent.

They keep stating that I need to send them my bank statements and have refused to give me her employee number or managers number or a contact for the department she works for.

He asked me to install a support app on my phone so he could check and make changes. At no point did he use my name or go through any kind of ID process. This is a scam. BEWARE I called sky who confirmed they do not make calls like this.

On 6th March Monday morning, I got an email from a company called Coinvic about cryptocurrency investment plans. The email also contained a website link and three phone numbers which I was to contact in case I was interested. I reached out to an agent called Marcus Gilliani who explained further how Ethereum will soon blow up. He also guided me on how to navigate my platform which included how to deposit and withdraw. I’d previously heard numerous stories of how people gained millions in this market and so
