I called this number thinking it was yahoo support, as I haven't been able to access my e-mail address. As soon as I called, they asked me to pay $40 so it did seem strange, but I had already given them my e-mail address and date of birth. Hopefully that won't have any consequences?

This number called me three times on 3/2/2016 in the space of half an hour and again today (4/2/2016). I have a watch that notifies me of any calls coming through and the number which is annoying, especially when I cannot access my phone at work. I believe that the woman asking the question, 'I was informed that you have been involved in a car accident' is a recorded voice which responds to your answers. When I said that she was misinformed another phrase asking for 'the date of the accident', came back and so on until the line went dead. I'm convinced this is a robot! It's irritating at best, but would be upsetting for anyone who had a family member or friend involved in a bad accident.

This company hold all my information, initially the called and said they were MAC, I checked online but found no such company they then called again asking for my partner(different number than mine) about making a claim for a car accident. They had a detailed account of what happened and where, but were very evasive when challenged as to where they had obtained the data from. It is my opinion that these companies are buying information from insurance companies!
