Call claiming to be from HMRC claiming I was under investigation for tax fraud. I wasn't born yesterday nor am I guilty of tax fraud.
Keep getting calls on my mobile from this number and then a text message saying you missed a call from me . I do not answer these calls but suspct them to be from PPI

This was an unsolicited call which I let go to ansafone the message started automatically - It appears to be a scam call (not mentioning your name, but saying HMRC has taken out a lawsuit under your name & an arrest warrant has been issued under your name & urging you to press 1 to speak to your case officer ( a case number KN01297 is quoted & you are urged to press 1 to speak to the case officer) - Typical of the types of scams used against older people

It seems that hospitals are in a Catch 22 situation here. This is an Avon call centre, trying to encourage their reps to order extra items. This in itself would be fine, but the number of times that they call is excessive in the extreme. They obviously use a system that calls a few numbers at a time and more often than not when I answer there is no one there. At certain times of the month I can get up to 10 calls a day. It is extremely annoying.
