Recieved a call from this number sounded like a call centre, I am in Australia, knew my name would not tell me how she was and were she was from, wanted me to confirm my name I just not me when she asked if I was XXXX, then she hung up.

Its a scam about a payment on your visa debit card which passes you through to a very noisy call centre.
Fraud Claimed she was the techincal dept of Virgin Media and that she could see that my internet connection was fluctuating and that she could restart my router to get a better connection. I told her she had called a business and which point she hung up.

POSSABLE FRAUD says it a bank and you have large withdraws from your bank
SCAM text claiming to be from a post office delivery man called Simon who had been unable to deliver with a link to a site for redirection. I knew it was fake but linked site appears very genuine/clone of a real one. Requests input of personal info. My response as always to block and report the number.
This number called my mobile but cut off when answered. I called back but the number was not recognised. Now blocked.

I was unable to answer the call from this number because my screen was playing up. It did not light up in any way so I couldn't see how to answer or anything. A few minutes later I needed to make a call so I spent some time getting the screen to light up in order to dial out. Surprisingly this number was still calling me. I think this is a scam call pretending to be 02. They send you a code via text and then ask for the code to be able to access your account online. The security says to no give the code to 02 staff, soo if they are real why are they asking for the code to apply supposed discount!!!
Cynical call, a day after receiving a SSE dividend, an unsolicited call from the USA about my share holding. An Indian sounding person, in a call centre, who had to asked on whose behalf he was calling. Then said it was some form of financial company. As if one would talk about your shares to an unknown person, acting for an off-shore company. Initially he was trying to make me believe he was connected to SSE.
