Recorded message. Rapid speech. Didn't catch who it claimed to be from, but stated that certain suspicious charges had been made to my account or card. Asked me to press option 1 etc. No doubtI would have been asked for security info in order 'to identify me'.

A automatic phone call saying they are HMRC and that they will pursue legal actions if I dont speak to them... bla bla... a SCAM.

Automated caller with female voice claiming charges made to VISA account, one of around £700 and another of £900 from earlier in the day. Prompts the caller to press '1' to cancel the charges. Would appear to be a scam and would strongly recommend not pressing 1 and hanging up and blocking the number,

Scam - Purporting to be from BT saying my internet would be cut off within next 24 hours because of 'detected anonalis'all in suspiciously accented English.

"Bank of Scotland" left concurrently 2 text messages and a voicemail, & phoned from 0333 045 9640. 1st text said "You will shortly receive a text from Bank of Scotland Card Services to confirm recent activity on your card ending xxxx" (the actual numbers on my card). 2nd text said fraudulent purchase of £349 from Apple had been blocked. Two calls within 5 minutes of each other from different landlines with an automatic voice stating a verification code. I was sent this after being sent a verification code from vinted.

This is a cold caller first thing in the morning, asking what i had in my loft. Denied being a cold caller or nuisance caller. Saying i would benefit from this call. Which i understand to be against the law to do un the UK. I demanded to know where she got my details from. She said it was from the.. P.. Somethinf data base company.. So probabky paid for it.... I don't think this is a safe number - appears to come from a house in Mansfield Road, Bournemouth but the message says there has been unusual activity on your card mentioning Amazon & an international bank transfer. There aren't any banks in Mansfield Road. It doesn't mention what bank is involved & you can't call the number back I think this is a scam.

This was the number that called me back after responding to a search on Google for an emergency plumber. The booking for a call out was £50 to start with and then there would be charge for the work done. By the time the plumber arrived a friend had resolved the problem and he was not needed. He still insisted on doing something and then charged £220! When we challenged they reduced it to £150. I advised that this was a total rip off! Do not use 24/7 Emergency Services!

POSSIBLE SCAM A female caller "Jess" said she was from Solar Energy Advice Ltd , offering reduced cost equipment in return for using it in a promotion. I asked if she had heard of the TPS, and her silence indicated she had not. I told her that unsolicited calls to a TPS registered number, without checking the TPS list, could mean a £5000 fine for her company. Then I hung up. A Google search for the company name shows NO company with that name appears to exist in the UK.
