received letter saying had won ?825,000.00 and to ring this number. Did not ring as letter said a "processing fee" had to be paid in order to get "winnings". SCAM. Sent letter back in their envelope telling them to "f**k off".
"Hello - my name is Amy, and I am the local advisor for the [postcode part 1] area...." Clearly reading from a set script, asking about my home improvements - when firmly pushed, said the 'company' was "Homes Advice". Call appears to be from North of Manchester, nowhere near me. Put phone down when I pressed for an address. Some sort of scam?

The caller from this number left messages on my mobile in which they said they were calling from my bank and unless i called back they would have to cancel a recent transaction. They are obviously not from my bank ! Not sure what they wanted but I will not be calling back in case it costs me !
Fraud - Do not pay attention to this number! Automated message claiming you have committed tax fraud, and you must press 1 otherwise you will be arrested immediately. Hmmm well OK then! I can only assume of you pressed 1 you will be asked to of course disclose your obligatory bank details. JUST IGNORE and BLOCK!!!

Rang once, couldn t understand name of company but heard PPI, so put phone down, rang back immediately and the male operative said, "Why did you put the phone down", I replied, "Cos I m not interested". He answered, "Interested in what" in an angry tone, so I just said, "In whatever you re selling" and hung up again. The phone then rang again immediately and I didn t answer. Didn t like the tone of the call at all, or appreciate being rung back a further twice.
