I received a text today asking me to ring 0345 301 6084. Phoned Natwest on normal customer service number instead and they know nothing about it, looks like a scam number.
Has called twice, first time no answer, second time answered to a woman with a Birmingham accent. Despite being on the TPS they still called. Using a mobile number they obviously use people working from home to cold call. Have now blocked.
Wanted to talk to the phone bill payer and thought this was a home number. When advised it was a business they politely disengaged.

Got a call from this number, can’t find any search about this number. Too noisy! First said it was from Sky, (knew my name and address), said my contract ended now in begin of April, I corrected saying it was only next month. Then she said they needed to do some checks to see if they could offer me a better/cheaper deal and asked me how much I pay monthly. It was when I said if you’re from sky you should know how much I pay. it was when she said she wasn’t from Sky but from UK utility something. I hung up

I had a call from this number and was instantly suspicious. I phone Lloyds (PhoneBank) number to be told that this number belongs to the Lloyds Credit Card Collection department (I had missed a payment due to personal circumstances) and they wanted their money. Like most people, I am suspicious of individuals whose language skills are a lot less than mine and have a heavy accent. Looks like a new number for scammers. Claimed to be from the "Technical Department of Sky", regarding my internet connection. Apparently my router has been sending them reports every time I go online. They hung up as soon as I told them my Sky router hasn't been plugged in for about three years.
