They said they had a message to call me as I or someone at my address had been in a car accident. This was untrue.

Introduced himself as Peter from Telephone Preference Service. Asked if I was getting nuisance calls? So I told him he was one. But Peter continued unabashed and asked again and said I needed to register to stop these calls. So this time I said I did not want to stop them as I enjoyed the conversation. He asked if I didn't want to have them stop. But I again repeated that I liked them. This succeeded in confusing him immensely and he could not think what to say - haha Basically a complete scam - beware.

ive been trying to call the number back all morning but it just goes to voicemail .. i was naturally very concerned and wanted to deal with immediatly - due to lack of response - i did a search on the numberand saw all these people reporting the same problem. absolutely awful way of scamming and fearing people

I am fed up of calls from this number and they try to use almost blackmail tactics to engage in conversation, for eg so I guess your mortgage is paid off then is it ha ha! Not nice but I end up simply putting the phone down.
