This number contacts my wife's mobile, but on answering, there is no response, and the call is disconnected.
Claimed to be from BT openreach. Wanted to check IP address. Picked the wrong number to try this. Husband played along for a little while, then informed them that he knew they were scammers from the start.
These numbers are reported as nuisance callers impersonating Talktalk, here elsewhere and to Talktalk as well. So WHY is Talktalk NOT blocking them entirely from the SYSTEM alto...

This Liverpool number seems to be used for a classical telemarketing, or it is a directly some general call centre. They usually work for some third company and call with offer of some goods or services for the actual company they were hired for. In this case the number is mostly reported in connection with insurance marketing (accident chasers), but I have found no info about company behind it, did someone answer it (without immediate hunging :) ) and spoke with some real person?

I had the same experience as the others I don't bank with Barclays and the first thing i did was look up the number, but how many people will panic and call it, all i can say is they are ##### sorry for the bad language as these people really get to me
