Just received a call from the number with automated female voice reporting "suspicious fraud transactions" from my bank account. It is a scam nothing more. Recommend blocking the call.

I was unable to answer the call from this number because my screen was playing up. It did not light up in any way so I couldn't see how to answer or anything. A few minutes later I needed to make a call so I spent some time getting the screen to light up in order to dial out. Surprisingly this number was still calling me. SCAM: I've probably received about 600+ calls from these people over the years. Indian call centre, claims to be from some official sounding company like UK energy services. They want a meter reading and your details to apply for government grants.
TAXES / HMRC Suppposedly HMRC chasing unpaid tax. Completely false, they will not ring with this sort of message.
Feel a bit uneasy about this number. Stated as being in Rochdale yet caller said was calling from Colchester.
